Upon arrival, officers located Mr. John Taylor, Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to University Hospital where he later died from the gunshot wound sustained.

Investigation revealed the vehicle had been at the location since about noon on the same day.

On July 13th, 2020, at approximately 9:37PM, police responded to shootings at 1233 West Hill Street and Thornton's at 2000 S. 7th Street. Upon arrival., police found Mr. Jalen Anthony and three other victims shot at both locations. Mr. Anthony succumbed to his injuries and the other three victims survived. It was determined all four subjects were shot at 1233 W. Hill Street.

Investigation revealed that the shooting occurred at the car wash at 7206 and the victim fled the scene crashing at 7210 Fegenbush Lane.
