On August 26th, 2018 at approximately 1:20PM, police were dispatched to 3201 Greenwood Ave. on a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they located Mr. Benny Berry, 43 years of age, lying there suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Upon EMS arrival, he was transported to University Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

On July 25th, 2018 at approximately 5:45AM, police were dispatched to 2332 Standard Avenue on a corpse found between 2332 and 2330 Standard Avenue. Upon police arrival, they located Mr. Irwin Smith, 42 years of age, lying there suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Upon EMS arrival, Mr. Smith was pronounced deceased at the scene.

On July 30th, 2016, gunshots were heard at 3:15AM in the rear lot of the Hampton Inn, 101 East Jefferson Street. Two officers working off duty ran to the area where the shots came from and located Mr. Stephon Harris lying there suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Upon EMS arrival, Mr. Harris was pronounced deceased at the scene from the gunshots wounds he sustained.

On February 10th, 2018, police were dispatched to 8007 Glimmer Way on a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered 20 year old, Arlandre Payton, lying in the breezeway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Payton was pronounced deceased at the scene due to the gunshot wounds he sustained.
