6/11/1981 - LOUISVILLE, KY. COLD CASE - HOMICIDE

On June 11th, 1981 at approximately 10:15PM, Ms. Betty Whitfield was sitting at a bus stop in the 500 block of West Muhammad Ali Boulevard. At this time an unknown male subject walked around the TARC shelter and threw acid in her face causing severe burns over her entire body. Ms. Whitfield suffered for two years and died as a result of the burns sustained. Wanted is a black male late teens to early 20`s (in 1981) and was last seen running north on South 5th Street.

8/5/1965 - LOUISVILLE, KY. COLD CASE - HOMICIDE

On the morning of August 5th, 1965 Ms. Alberta Jones was found deceased in the Ohio River nearby the old Fountain Ferry Amusement Park. The last time Ms. Jones was seen alive was when she left a friend`s house in the 2100 block of West Broadway in the early morning hours of August 5th. The victim was struck in the head by a blunt object and there was evidence of a struggle. The victim`s vehicle, a 1964 Ford, was found a few days later in the 3100 block of Del Park Terrace. Before her death, the victim may have been driven to the Sherman Minton Bridge.
